We Love Going To Town!!!

Last night it rained for the first time but luckily the mice scarried me into setting up my tent before it did. The mouse wars journal was not exaggerating. If I was “cowboy camping” like I was the rain would have made me retreat into the heart of the enemy. The tent held up even though I was like a fent zombie on the melatonin I took an hour before while setting it up. Greenman, Motorman, Gussied Up, and I went into town again to supply and eat dinner with Scary Hands, No Turn, Flat Pick, Dylan, Zuko, Katara, and a cool dude we just met. Forgot his name. Sorry for all the shout outs lol. I wanna talk about each hiker I met sometime but tonight I’m conserving battery. We bought a day pass at a hostel and got to shower and use the laundry machine. Thanks Freight Train for shuttling us around. We have so much food because a section hiker quit before we even shopped in town so all out bags are 8-11 + pounds of food *heavy breathing and stomach rubbing.
We could have stayed at the hostel like Modelo but we decided to go 0.4 miles up the trail instead to keep our heads in the game. I feel like our group of hikers are all getting to know each other which is really cool. Sorry if this post was a bit boring. Would it make it better if I said we went to Dairy Queen? Not really. Yall want to hear about things that happen outside of towns and I get it so stay tuned! That’s it for tonight.
