We left the air bnb today and hit up the diner and dollar general for the third and final time. If you find yourself in hot springs you will probably go to the very same diner and dollar general. The diner is awesome you better go there. It’s the only one in town too. The gang climbed up back into the mountains where we belong but unbeknownst to us cookies and cream were on our tail! We booked it and decided to camp near the “dammed pond”. Never seen a damn dammed pond before. We crossed over it and set up camp at an amazing spot we just so happened to find. All but motorman who went on ahead is at the spot. Despite the rain we may or may have not gotten a huge fire going. Yuri carried when it comes to making a fire he is simply the best there is. How do you make a fire in the rain? You have to look under fallen trees to find dry kindling. You keep feeding the fire small dry stickies while holding an umbrella above to block the rain. Then you take wet logs into the fire that will eventually dry and catch. The fire dried us as the pouring rain drizzed us. I had my last cigarette. I think Zero might be a smoker now though like Green hahaha. We were laughing about the “500 cigarettes” meme from Star Trek. Things that weren’t cigarettes IYKYK like the Baja blast bong were in rotation. I didn’t smoke the bong I’m not big into weed it makes me cough too much. Our tent city is so cool rn. Had a can of spaghettios by the fire in the rain. Tonight just felt like camping with friends. Too much fun! There’s a lot of dumb saying like… “no pain no Maine” or “smiles over miles” but to quote the last and most important rule in Wigglytuffs Exploration Guild from Pokemon Explorers of Sky… “Smiles go for miles!” Thats it for tonight guys!
