Cookies and Cream

Zero Day! Washed stuff, ate stuff. Washed Mudkip and he’s looking awful spiffy now. Had some time today to watch YouTube in bed which was awesome. Catching up on YTPs and Oneyplays. Maybe I will get YouTube red so I can download some vids and watch them from the tent!!! The day ended before anyone realized it. All the hot springs in Hot Springs have been paywalled and honestly, they were just hot tubs. Still nice though. Saw a groundhog in the wild for the first time whilst in the hot spring bath. Cream ended up making his last-second entrance with The Cookies and so they ended up staying with us. Colorful characters. Also they didn’t like the cookies and cream group name that we all thought was really funny. They really didn’t like it. Motorman’s girlfriend is really cool. We listen to all the same music (nu-metal, jazz fusion, Midwest emo, ect…) and she drives like a badass. She’s been super clutch driving the whole gang to and fro from the air bnb down this curvy road in a minivan (might be The Dragon people talk about. Famous road). Talked with some friends from home today and the fam. Everytime the dog is brought up I lowkey feel my heart explode. Most of my friends have their home within a visitable distance from the trail but if I ever visited home it would turn my thru hike into a section hike and also cost way more in air fare. My life and social circle at home was really good and I find myself missing the ocean especially. But I also crave the adventure of the trail and love my friends I met along the way. Here’s finally a photo of the whole squad. They also just looked at my blog tonight for the first time which was exciting and made me nervous. I don’t like being in the limelight! Anyways here it is-
